<p>The noteworthy addition to this platform is a bespoke <strong>powerplant </strong>that uses a new vacuum die-casting method called Vacural which results in an engine that weighs about 7 lbs less than the old 749. The “<em>Testastretta Evoluzione</em>” <a href="http://www.vbmotorsport.com/cat/engines/">motor </a>uses a 94.0 x 61.2 mm bore and stroke to yield 849cc. No, that’s not a typo &#8211; this continues Ducati’s disregard for its nomenclature matching the engine’s displacement: the old 749 displaced 748cc; the standard 999 was 998cc; and the 1098 has a 1099cc <a href="http://www.vbmotorsport.com/cat/engines/">engine</a>.<br />
<strong>Suspension </strong>is provided by fully adjustable <strong>Showa components</strong> at each end. The beefy 43 mm fork does without any fancy titanium-nitride or DLC coating, but its responsiveness is quite good, as is its adjustability.<br />
The 848 has the <strong>sporting prowess</strong> to back up its mouth-watering good looks.</p>

<strong>Boxer Café</strong> is the second selling center for <a href="http://www.vbmotorsport.com/bmw-bought-husqvarna/">BMW motorcycles</a>, in China, after the Peking one. German constructor took this decision, because Chinese motor market is expanding and is dominated by small <a href="http://www.vbmotorsport.com/cat/moto/">motorcycles</a>.<br />
<a href="http://www.vbmotorsport.com/bmw-bought-husqvarna/">BMW </a>hopes that strong and powerful motorcycles to create a new life style for its lovers.</p>
<p>The <strong>new center</strong> is created together with a local partner, named LONCIN, which has a <a href="http://www.vbmotorsport.com/cat/moto/">motor division</a> that is producing almost one million motorcycles in a year. Chongqing city was chosen because its nearest places concentrates almost 6 million motorcycles on year, many Japanese producers and suppliers having centers near this city.</p>

<p>The Germans will take advantage of Husqvarna’s distribution line, specialized on light weight motorcycles and of their know-how regarding <a href="http://www.vbmotorsport.com/cat/moto/">motorsport</a>.<br />
<a href="http://www.vbmotorsport.com/cat/bmw/">BMW Motorrad</a> produced, last year over 100,000 motorcycles, only <a href="http://www.vbmotorsport.com/cat/engines/">engines </a>with over 500 cc.<br />
On the other way, Husqvarna (which is a part of <strong>MV Agusta</strong>) produced over 12,000 motorcycles with <a href="http://www.vbmotorsport.com/cat/engines/">engines </a>between 125 cc and 610 cc, most of them with only one cylinder.</p>
