Opel that will replace Vectra

Even if it is already known, Opel that will replace Vectra was officially presented at the Auto Salon in London, the car still attracted attention at Paris and many of those who visited the Opel stand felt the need to look at body types and to study inside.
Badge was conceived quite differently from the Vectra, the car is now more imposing because of rounded forms and for the massive front. The stylish language is quite another and will occur at other models from this brand. The interior does not differ that much from the concept of the Vectra, but the details of the change is obvious.
Opel badge will be available with a range of gasoline engines with power between 115 HP and 260 HP and a diesel propeller offered in three variants of power. The base model offers 110 HP and the most powerful is of 160 HP.
It is official that the new badge has integral traction and not only on the OPC version but also on other engines.

Kia Borrego

Borrego is the biggest SUV from the Koreans from Kia and it will be presented at Detroit Auto Show, next year, in January.
Detroit Auto Show was chosen for Borrego presentation because it will be developed for the US Market.
Borrego will be the first Kia with a gas V8 engine. What else could satisfy Americans desires? You can also find it with a V6 engine.
This SUV is inspired by Messa Concept, which was presented in 2005 at Detroit Auto Show and has bigger dimensions than the actual Sorento.

Borrego will also have a third row with seats for two adults.
The Borrego name is a little bit strange, because they have inspired on this name after a sheep name from California.

New Honda Accord

Tourer Concept, presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show, this year, will be the base of the new Honda Accord break. The relative simple lines, which also suggest power and sportive allure offer many technical innovations.

One of this is the new generation of i-DTEC diesel engine, which has (now) 140 hp, but I think it will probably be improved to face the competition.
This model will be presented next year at Geneva Auto Show.

Tractorri Lamborghini Mustang

Tractorri Lamborghini Mustang, exposed at SEMA Tuning Show, was realized by John Haugh, from Cleveland.
This is nothing else than a Gallardo with its V10, 520 hp engine, but “dressed” in Mustang clothes!

Ecological Cactus

From all concepts presented at 2007 Frankfurt Motor Show, Citroen was one of the most interesting, with C-Cactus.
The car has a special form and it situates somewhere between small and mono-volume cars, but its ecological performance are outstanding.

Citroen C-Cactus

C-Cactus sets high standards of on-board comfort with a roomy interior that is worthy of a family car. It is 4.2 meters long and 1.8 meters wide with a wide range of equipment including air conditioning with automatic temperature control, a high-quality audio system, a panoramic glass sunroof, cruise control and a speed limiter.
With its diesel hybrid drive train combining a 70 bhp DIN HDi diesel engine with a particulate filter and an electric motor providing additional power of 30 bhp DIN, C-Cactus consumes just 3.4l/100 km with CO2 emission levels of 78 g/km over a combined cycle.

Citroen C-Cactus

In urban use, ZEV (Zero Emission Vehicle) mode provides silent, all-electric operation. On journeys involving successive acceleration and deceleration, the hybrid system limits fuel consumption by using both types of energy.
The solutions adopted for the design of C-Cactus also contribute to bringing down fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. Using fewer parts makes the vehicle 15% lighter than a C4 Hybride HDi for a total weight of 1,306 kg.

The tyre width has also been kept down (205/45 R21) on C-Cactus, which adds to environmental performance.

Seat Tribu

At 2007 Frankfurt Motor Show Seat presented a brand new concept, which was built on Volkswagen Tiguan platform (only shorter).
Tribu is a SUV with 3 doors, which has few spectacular solutions regarding its form: original lines of body and an impressive grille, which reminds of Audi’s Single Frame Face.
Seat announced that the series production for the next year will use a longer platform, from Tiguan.

Tokyo Motor Show 2007- Premium Cars

Many manufacturers showed fascinating models in the premium – segment at the Tokyo Motor Show 2007.
At this year Tokyo Motor Show, a house full of captivating and innovative models, were presented outstanding premium models, like Lexus IS F, which will hit the market in Japan, later this year. In Europe, people have to wait until March, next year.
The strongest Passat, Variant R36 was also available in the land of the rising sun. The Variant R36 is powered by a 3.6 liter V6 engine, with gasoline direction injection technology, and 300 hp.
Lamborgini presented one of the most world fastest convertible, the Gallardo Spyder. Its engine pulls out 520 hp an it reaches a top speed of 307 km/h.
Porsche attracted Japanese eyes with the latest models: the GT2 and the 911 Turbo cabriolets.
Bentley was presented is Continental GT line with a 610 hp range top model with the 8 cylinder engine, the greatest ever company made, with 537 hp.
